Bintan Ferry Terminal (Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal)

Rows of shops greet you upon your arrival at the Bintan Ferry Terminal. Good buys here include the polo shirts

at greatly discounted prices as well as the handicrafts and Bintan T-shirts. Don’t forget the Keropok (prawn crackers) too!

 

The Real Bandung Factory Outlet

The Real Bandung Factory Outlet (Bandung’s largets factory outlet retail welcomes one and all to enjoy quality fashionwear at factory prices. The store takes up an entire building located just beside the Bandar Bentan Telani (BBT) ferry terminal.

The store is operational from 8.00am to 8.00pm daily, shoppers-both locals and tourists alike – can enjoy endless hours of browsing through racks of quality clothes and accessories at affordable prices. All items are priced in Indonesian Rupiah, but the store also accepts Singapore and US dollars at prevailing in-store exchange rates.

Pasar Oleh Oleh

The Bintan Resort’s very own market of

gifts, Pasar Oleh-Oleh is a cluster of Indonesian-style huts offering everything Indonesian.

 

From local Indonesian delicacies like Keropok (prawn or fish crackers), emping (belinjo crackers) and packets of dried seafood such as ikan bilis (anchovies), scallops and shrimps.

 

With A must-buy is the kueh lapis – a spongy and sweet square-shaped Indonesian cake baked to a layered perfection. If you love all things batik, go for the wide selection of batik sarongs in rich rainbow colours or traditional brown-and black. These wrap-around cloths are great for theme-party wear or you can drape them on your wall at home, or use them as curtains or doorway dividers. There are also batik shirts for men, and a whole range of decorative knick-knacks made from batik material.

Other unique finds include intricate wood cravings, the angklung (a bamboo-piped musical instrument), exotic kites and other souvenirs.

     

Kampoeng Lagoi

The new shopping market located directly opposite Pasar Oleh Oleh. It offers a wide range of Indonesian handicrafts; fashion clothings; bags & luggages.

 

The several restaurant outlets serve nice & palatable Indonesian cuisines.
