The Directorate General of Immigration of the Republic of Indonesia has introduced a new arrival regulation called the All Indonesia e-Arrival Digital Card at immigration checkpoint. This centralized system streamlines immigration, customs, and health declarations into a single process.
After its rollout on 1st September 2025, at three international airport; Soekarno-Hatta (Jakarta), Ngurah Rai (Bali), and Juanda (Surabaya) and six international seaports, the regulation will be extended nationwide (all entry points) starting 1st October 2025, including to visitors arriving at International Ferry Terminal in Bintan Resorts.
The All Indonesia e-Arrival Digital Card is designed to simplify travel, accelerate arrival procedures, and ease congestion at immigration counters. It is important to note that this digital card is not a visa—travelers are still required to obtain a Visa on Arrival (VOA) or e-Visa separately. Through this system, passengers can conveniently complete personal, travel, immigration, customs, and health information online in a single step.
Bintan Resorts welcomes this initiative as a key step in Indonesia’s broader digital transformation in tourism and border management. By minimizing paperwork and streamlining arrival procedures, the All Indonesia e-Arrival Card elevates the guest experience while reinforcing Indonesia’s commitment to modern, traveler-friendly entry systems.
Visitors arriving at the International Ferry Terminal in Bintan Resorts are required to complete the online form within 72 hours before entering Indonesia. The application is free of charge and can be accessed via the official website https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id/ or by downloading the ‘All Indonesia’ app from the App Store or Google Play. The process takes just about 2.5 minutes, and once submitted, a QR code will be sent to the traveler’s registered email. This QR code must be presented at immigration and customs checkpoints upon arrival.
For guests traveling to Bintan Resorts, this update promises a smoother and faster entry experience. With the QR codes ready, visitors can clear formalities efficiently and spend less time waiting at checkpoints, ensuring their journey from port or airport to the resort is as seamless as possible—even during peak holiday periods. By consolidating immigration, customs, and health declarations into a single application, the new system eliminates confusion, making compliance simple and stress-free.
Arriving in Bintan is now more convenient than ever, allowing guests to transition effortlessly from immigration to their resort stay. Travelers are advised to always refer to official immigration resources and complete the All Indonesia e-Arrival Card only through the official application or website to avoid third-party charges.
