Bintan Resorts officially marked the start of 2026 by welcoming the first international arrivals of the year through a special First Arrival Ceremony held at Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal. The ceremony celebrated the arrival of guests traveling on the very first ferry trip of 2026, symbolizing a positive and promising beginning for the year ahead.
The inaugural visitors, comprising travelers from Japan, Germany, and India, were warmly received with Bintan Resorts’ signature hospitality. The occasion reflected the destination’s continued commitment to international tourism and its position as one of Southeast Asia’s most accessible and appealing resort destinations.
Speaking at the ceremony, Kristofer Gunara, Management of Bintan Resorts, expressed optimism for the year ahead, noting that 2026 will be filled with exciting developments and experiences across the destination. He invited travelers from around the world to enjoy Bintan’s natural beauty, diverse accommodations, and growing calendar of international events.
