The Ship
Bintan Resort Ferries (BRF)
BRF operates a ferry service between Singapore’s Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT), and Bandar Bentan Telani (BBT) Ferry Terminal. With the high-speed catamaran ferry ride, you can go to Bintan Resorts in just a mere 50 minutes ride.
Four catamaran ferries are operated by Bintan Resort Ferries. When the company first began operations, it built the first two ferries. There are two of them: a 270-seat Aria Bupala and a 286-seat Indera Bupala.
The more modern ferries, The Wani Seri Beni and Wan Sendari ferries are both 42 meters long and capable of carrying up to 300 passengers.
Damen Shipyards in the Netherlands built the most recent vessels, which can cruise at speeds exceeding 37 knots and include a high-tech navigation and engineering monitoring system.
The ferry has a smoother voyage for passengers, which results in greater stability during stormy waves.
