Dress Like a Local - Traditional Malay Clothing

At Studio Songket, you can try on beautiful traditional Malay clothes like Baju Melayu for men and Kebaya or Baju Kurung for women. Many of the outfits are made from songket, a special hand-woven fabric decorated with shiny threads and unique patterns.

But the experience doesn’t stop with just clothing. Visitors can choose from a collection of traditional accessories like headscarves, songkok (caps), tengkolok (headwraps), and classic jewelry. The friendly staff will help dress and style you, to help you look and feel your best.

You can rent an outfit fortwo hours (IDR 180,000) or for the whole day (IDR 200,000), giving you plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the studio.

Get Styled and Photo-Ready

 also offers make-up and hairstyling services for IDR 350,000. It’s perfect if you’re planning a full photo shoot or just want to feel extra special.

You can choose between:

  • A professional photo session (IDR 1.5 million) with stunning results, or
  • A self-photo studio (IDR 100,000 for 15 minutes), where you control the camera yourself using a remote.

Both options are great fun, whether you’re visiting as a couple, with friends, or on a solo adventure.

The highlight of the studio is its beautiful set design. Inside, you’ll find two rooms that look like real parts of a traditional Malay home:
