Bintan Resorts will hold a Mangrove Rejuvenation activity to commemorate World Tourism Day on 27 September 2022.

Mangrove Rejuvenation activities will be held on Tuesday, 27 September 2022 in 2 different places. The first activity is the replanting of 1,000 mangrove seedlings – to take place at the Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal. This planting will be from 06.00 to 09.30 in the morning.

Following this, next activity will take place at the Mangrove Pier, about 5 minutes away by car from the Ferry Terminal. In this place we will explore the Sebong River for 6.8 km and conduct a cleaning exercise along the river by boat. This cleaning process will last until 12 noon.

Mangrove Forest and Sebong River are locations where guests can enjoy the most famous tourist attraction, namely the Mangrove Discovery Tour. The preservation of the mangrove forest therefore, must be maintained from now on by replanting mangrove seedlings, and cleaning along the mangrove river on a regular basis so that guests can still enjoy nature tourism in a healthy and beautiful environment for a long time to come.
