Conquer Gunung Bintan — the tallest summit of Bintan for a breathtaking 360-degree view of the island! Standing at 340-meters, Gunung Bintan is home to ancient trees up to 40-meters tall and animals like silver leaf monkeys, sunbirds, eagles and more. Nothing beats a refreshing dip after some hiking action!
The entire hike takes approximately 2 to 4 hours, depending on fitness level and the amount of time you’d like to spend enjoying the wild.
What to bring/wear:
- A pair of good strong sneakers or trekking boots (not slippers)
- Long pants & cotton t-shirt (preferably with long sleeves)
- Raincoat and hat, mosquito repellent spray/lotion & hand towel
- Sunblock is strongly recommended
